Japan Sea Cadet Federation

The Japan Sea Cadet Corps is a social educational organization established in 1951 with the motto of encouraging boys and girls in Japan, who will be the next generation leaders of the maritime nation, to become familiar with the sea, learn from the sea, and train from the sea.
Currently, approximately 4,000 members and leaders are active in 80 units across Japan.

Since 2024, the National Assembly of Japan Sea Cadets has been divided into the ceremonial convention part and the festival part, which are held every each year.

We also have international exchanges with overseas Sea Cadet Corps such as the UK, Canada, the US, South Korea, and Hong Kong.etc.

Crimes involving young people are increasing these days.

The causes of this phenomenon are believed to be a lack of social discipline and the deterioration of children's mental states.

It is said that children today are often self-centered in their behavior.
It is challenge and duty for us to provide these children with an experience where they can develop their humanity and social skills.
